🏉 Our Vision & Purpose

Founded in 1933, Didcot RUFC is a volunteer-led, community-focused club with a rich heritage. Today, we boast some of the best facilities in the county at Boundary Park and operate as a fully inclusive club for all ages and abilities.

Our purpose is to provide a family-friendly, inclusive environment where rugby players can develop in an enjoyable and safe space, rooted in the core values of teamwork, discipline, respect, sportsmanship, and enjoyment.

🚀 Key Priorities (2025–2030)

  • Director of Rugby: Appointing a DoR by the 2026 off-season to lead strategy and player development.
  • Growth: Increasing playing membership by 10% through consistent outreach.
  • Coaching: Establishing a club-wide coaching philosophy from Minis to Seniors.
  • Performance: Supporting the Men’s 1st XV and Valkyries to be promoted and competitive.

Growing the Game

  • Schools Outreach: Building long-term connections that feed into the club.
  • Youth Mentoring: A program supporting U16 players through physical and emotional development.
  • Girls Rugby: Increasing participation at U9 to U18 with targeted recruitment.
  • Sustainability: Ensuring long-term financial stability via a whole-club business plan.

📈 The Next Chapter

Success at senior level brings visibility and sponsorship, but our Age Grade rugby is our future—developing and sustaining this is a priority. We are committed to fostering pathways from school to club for all abilities.
