Didcot RUFC committee is committed to running the club in a transparent, responsible and inclusive way. This page brings together our key governance documents, outlining how the club operates and the standards expected of everyone involved.
Club Constitution
The constitution sets out the purpose of Didcot RUFC, how decisions are made, and the roles and responsibilities of committee members and officers. It forms the foundation of how the club is governed.
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct outlines the behaviours expected from players, coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters. It reflects the core values of rugby and helps ensure a positive, respectful environment on and off the pitch.
It also includes the club’s procedures for managing disciplinary matters and complaints. These processes explain how concerns can be raised and how they will be handled in a fair, transparent and consistent manner, ensuring all members are treated respectfully and in line with RFU guidance.
Social Media & Communications Policy
This policy explains how Didcot RFC uses social media and digital communication channels, and the standards expected when representing the club online. It includes guidance on safeguarding, appropriate content, and reporting concerns.
Safeguarding & Welfare
The welfare of children and vulnerable adults is central to everything we do. Our safeguarding policies follow RFU guidance and outline how we create a safe environment, respond to concerns, and support members of the club.
Note: The policy below is the Final Draft (Version 1.0) scheduled for committee approval on 1st April 2026.
